Christian is an Ecuadorian migrant who moved to Walla Walla in 2018 to reunite with his family. He graduated from Walla Walla Community College and he also graduated from sociology at Whitman College. He listened because he wanted to learn more about the community that he lives in.

Walla Walla is an important place for Christian because of the warm welcome that community members offered him when he was not yet fluent in the language or familiar with American culture. As a migrant, he knew how difficult it is to reach an unknown country without mastering the English language; therefore, he was passionate about helping new community members.
